Hi, I’m Stephanie Kellett.
I help clients cultivate a greater sense of well-being, process trauma, expand their capacity for uncomfortable emotions, and deepen their awareness of body sensations.
With training in Somatic Focusing, Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, breathwork, and mindfulness meditation, I guide clients in developing self-compassion and navigating distressing emotions with greater ease. My approach is rooted in an understanding of the nervous system, the complexity of human nature, and the wisdom of the body.
A Little About Why I Do This Work...
I’m someone who knows what it’s like to walk through the fire. I’ve moved through personal experiences of the loss of multiple loved ones, my identity, and a future I thought I had in the bag. I've also navigated seasons of anxiety, depression, and stagnation. I've also had to sift through the confusion brought on by gas-lighting and betrayal trauma. Like many of us, I didn’t learn about nervous system regulation or emotional resilience until adulthood—and I remember how overwhelming and mysterious it all felt in the beginning.
Because of that, I have so much compassion for those who are just starting their journey into self-trust, emotional awareness, and deeper embodiment. It’s not about being perfect or “healed”—it’s about having a space where you can be seen, heard, and supported while you explore what it means to feel safe in your own skin.
What to Expect in a Session
I offer one-on-one individual counselling online via Zoom or phone. Our first session will focus on understanding your concerns, clarifying your goals for therapy, and establishing a structure that works for you. In ongoing sessions, we will explore what is present for you in the moment—whether a recent experience or a recurring pattern. Everything that arises in a session is a doorway into deeper self-awareness and transformation.
Through our work together, you can expect to reduce anxiety, build self-trust and confidence, process grief, and cultivate a greater sense of well-being. Our sessions may include somatic focusing techniques to explore body sensations and nervous system responses, guided meditation, visualization, and ritual work to process emotions, or boundary exploration and narrative reframing to support personal growth.
The goal is to move at your pace, creating a sense of safety and trust in your unique process. Above all, my intention is for you to feel seen, heard, and deeply understood.
